If I understand correctly, your Voyager router keeps dropping your internet connection and then not reconnecting.  Assuming you have not changed a setting so that it does not try to reconnect automatically, it is faulty.  That's an old model and routers don't live forever.

sorry for the delay in getting back on here but yes you understand correctly nothing has changed  but it seems that every every 24 hours or so it cuts my connection which it never used to do,
so now any recommendations  for a replacement router please  Smiley

Re: anyone help have to keep clicking connect HELP PLEASE

I had this with a voyager 2110 but it did it from day one.
In desperation I changed it from using PPPoA to PPPoE (Even though that's the 'wrong' setting) and it cured the disconnections.
Might be worth a go.

Have a look here: http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/voyager2110.shtml
About 2/3 down the page it shows where to set Encapsulation to PPPoA.
Try setting it to PPPoE instead.
I don't know if it will work for you but it did for me so could be worth a go.

A few ideas here - http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php?topic=815.0
As this sounds like a router problem, you could try a different router, or ask Plusnet to send you a free one (if you stay 12 months and pay £4.99 p&p)  Wink

Hello, I just remembered I'd given you some advise.

Did switching from pppoA to pppoE help at all? or did you get a new router?

Just to point out that PPPOE is native to 21CN so most likely if hes on 21CN it will make a nice difference.

Re: anyone help have to keep clicking connect HELP PLEASE

HI,
Interleaving will not show if it's set to fast. Yours however will have been set to Auto, but in the off state. As it's in auto state that's why it will automatically change once an intermittent fault is raised.
