Re: any hope of getting my banding reset again?

why didnt i think of using a farther ted catch pharse to get my band request sorted so quick  Roll_eyes
ive been dancing in the hula hoops factory for days, got it lifted in the end.
p.s using ppp sesion uptimes to gauge the stabilty of a line is a floored system for those that gateway hop alot like me  Wink

Re: any hope of getting my banding reset again?

so does this mean bt will lift a band more than once? i got a band lifted only to be put back on one the next day i higher band but a band none the less.
for what reason i do not know i might have rebouted the router once with in a day. one disconnect = band. dont understand this banding profile business!!!

Re: any hope of getting my banding reset again?

i think i was allowed the second free pass due to me changing my hardware which has indeed fixed the problem
pesky wag54gs ... wonder what fails in these things would have thought it's mostly solid state and so shouldn't die ... ho hum
although i still have the plusnet profile stuck at 5000 so we'll see tomorrow when i'm really running at full speed

What's your BT profile bluewhale?
@chrisyoung, we can, but only if we have justification (in this case new hardware).

Re: any hope of getting my banding reset again?

This may be bizarrely off topic, but in the medical world, 'banding' is a treatment for piles!
In BT Wholesale's implementation of Destructive Line Management, 'banding' is caused by the Pile (of S***)!
Both types of pile cause unnecessary suffering! Embarrassed
