(Yet another) SNRM reset request

My line seems to have been fairly stable for a couple of weeks since I corrected a re-done extension - the last three re-syncs (that I know of) being initiated by me (one during disconnection of the ring wire and the last, 3 days ago, to see if a re-sync would change the speed/SNRM). FEC errors are high (last check: up to 7000 per second when idling, none while downloading Huh ), but CRC and HEC change quite slowly (last check: 0 in 6mins, with a 12MB FTP download run in that time).
Hopefully, a reset will up the speed by 12% (to 3.6Mbps Roll_eyes ) with the SRNM going to 6dB.

Re: (Yet another) SNRM reset request

Hi there,
I've placed the SNR reset on your line, this should take around 4 hours to complete.
Let me know how you get on.

Re: (Yet another) SNRM reset request

Thanks, Chris.
Just checked and am now at 3687k/3.9dB and 704k/6.3dB with 66 CRC and 713 HEC over 1h 47m 7s  Cheesy Cheesy
Attn has gone up (obviously) to 61.8 as it's now using tones up to 159 Roll_eyes
At 8dB down it kept within 0.2dB, so fingers crossed it can hold when the levels drop later today.
Phil
Quick update: now at 7dB up, 173 CRC, 2294 HEC and 3h 5m 19s  Cheesy Cheesy
