Wrong Profile

Good afternoon,
I believe I have been set up on the incorrect profile. I was quote 71/20 but am getting 38/30.
Not that I'm complaining about the extra upload however I would like the download speed closer to 71.
As well, I am curious if the static ip actually took effect. With my previous adsl provider I found a huge drop in ping when I switched to static ip (50ms to 20ms.) I did not notice any change with my current fibre product (hovering between 5ms on a great day and 20 on an ok day.)
I understand fibre may be a different beast to adsl but is there anything I can do that would have a similar effect in lowering ping.

Please post the results from the BT speedtest - further diagnostics as something appears to be badly adrift
I assume that you are on FTTC and not the FTTP trial

You will have to wait till Monday to get a reply from Plusnet staff, unless you ring support. Who quoted the speed (was the OR engineer)?

I've checked your line and profile and everything seems to be running fine. Are you currently connected wired ow wireless?
