Is it the Wirral in general or just you?

In what way is it horrendous, slow or constantly dropping?

The main problem is very slow,i know everyone's using the net,
but it wont even open a page,or small video very frustrating to

say the least.
As regards the speed checker that'll have to wait because
i cant open it,
Slowly loosing the will  ;-(

I opened your speed checker but i could'nt make head nor tail of it,

The reason you probably can't make head or tail of it is because it's not a speed checker, it tells us what speed your line should be able to acjeve.

 Can you copy it, delete your phone number and post it here? We can then tell you what it means.

You are obviously a long way from your telephone exchange On ADSL your download synch rate is up to 6.5 Mbps, your actual data rate will be less than this. that is, pathetic in today's world. However, something has been done about it. If you upgrade to Fibre, which is currently available, your speed should increase about 20 fold to over 60 Mbps..

Thanks for your reply,if i wanted Fibre could i still get it,
with the current situation going on in the country,ie
are your engineers still working,plus would they have

to come into my house with the router,or could i do it

Just for the record my only connection with Plusnet is that I am a fellow customer.

As I understand the situation you can still upgrade but it might take longer than normal due to the shortage of Openreach technicians and priority being  concentrated on repairs. All the work is done outside of your property. From your end Plusnet will send you a new hub, which you plug in place of your existing one.

On checking your speeds this afternoon you are within the estimates for your line, if you are still having trouble with the speeds it may be worth going ahead and calling our Customer Options team on 0800 013 2632 to discuss the option of upgrading your service.
