Wireless adapter disconnecting

My Wireless Adapter keeps disconnecting and I have to reconnect using Key.
Is this my end or PlusNet end.

Which operating system and which devices lose connection if it isn't Windows

Windows Xp.
Device losing connection is Wireless Adapter as stated.

Is it a USB adapter or is it on the motherboard
The first thing to try is updating the drivers

The Adapter is USB.
I have reloaded driver cd to no avail.

Did it previously stay connected?
What make and model of wireless adapter is it? How old is it?
