Re: Wifi issues

@MisterW think you are correct, which is why I posted my crib sheet. The OP seems open to help, so I have no problem guiding them, if needed.

Re: Wifi issues

Unable to do so. Won't let me post pictures. I tried through the clipboard and nothing. It is because I'm new to the forum?

Re: Wifi issues

@Loui Are you using a desktop/laptop to do this? It is close to impossible on phones/tablets. It has nothing to do with how new you are.

EDIT: you cannot save pictures to the clipboard (as far as I know) you need to save them to a folder, which is why I suggested the obvious 'pictures' one.

A further thought - if you get this disconnection problem, please do not turn off the Hub - doing so introduces further complications.

Re: Wifi issues

I reset my mobile to desktop site and posted photos. Sorry for the length of wait.

Re: Wifi issues

Thanks for that information, Louise. I forgot to ask (I think) - do you not have a desktop/laptop computer - I guess not, from the above?

From the speed tests, as that is al I have to go on - unfortunately the BT Wholesale screenshot indicates that you are able to get Full Fibre, so doesn't help - all I can suggest is that you raise a Broadband fault via this link: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/ as early as possible tomorrow morning and let me know what response you get.

There is definitely something restricting your speeds, and this will be the same as is causing your connection to drop.

My apologies for not picking up earlier.

Re: Wifi issues

Seriously, thank you John, you have been very helpful. I feel you have listened to me more then anyone has before. I DO HAVE A PC, but was unavailable to use today as I was busy with appointments and my kids. One of those days. I will contact them tomorrow and see what happens.
Thank you so much

Re: Wifi issues

No problem, Louise. As I said, raise the issue via that link and let me know what response you get. I appreciate you are busy if you have children, but it would be interesting to see a speedtest from the PC, especially if you could do it from a wired connection - no worries though if you can't.

Re: Wifi issues

@Loui the connection status from the router would still be useful as @jab1 requested earlier

and sight of the broadband connection status from your Hub (with the 'Username' obscured) would be a good starting point.

For the Hub One -

Navigate from the Home Screen to Troubleshooting > Helpdesk

For the Hub Two -

Navigate from the Home Screen to Advanced Settings > Technical Log > Information

TBH  with what the line is capable of from the estimates, I'd be surprised if the line is dropping on a 40/10 product.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Wifi issues

Until we see the stats, though, we are guessing.

I hope @Loui can provide those, plus a speedtest from the laptop - for comparison if nothing else, although from what I have seen, I suspect there is a line problem, all the data so far provided seems to point that way - to me.

It would be interesting if PN support could post the Radius graph and the result of a GEA test, but they seem very reluctant to provide those these days.
