If a dual band router ensure you give the 5ghZ band a different SSID name.
D/load a free wifi analyser app, and check wht frequencies most in use in your locale.
Then choose the least/ not used wifi channels, by adjusting router.
5ghZ is currently less populated, has more channels, but has less range from router.
