Why has my Imgur problem thread been locked?

Why lock the thread and provide a link to the Fibre forum?  I'm not on Fibre, I'm on ADSL and the last time I looked this is the ADSL support forum.  Hence why I posted my problem in here.

Re: Why has my Imgur problem thread been locked?

Because the problem is nothing to do with it being fibre or ADSL and it would be bonkers to have two topics for the same problem. You'd be really unhappy if yours was left open and Plusnet only posted replies to the fibre forum and ignored yours!
Locking new threads with a link to the main topic is standard practice and makes sure all the information is seen by anyone who has an interest.

Just to confirm what Spoon Whittler said.
