Re: Why does everything take forever

Wow that is shocking service from virgin media, my guess is BT fibre will end up like that.
The thing I don't understand Matt is how come interleaving can be turned on with a fault open, upstream can be mistakenly capped then uncapped with the same fault open yet interleaving can't be turned off with the same fault open.
Interleaving can be turned on within the hour but it takes 4 weeks to turn interleaving back off.

Re: Why does everything take forever

I know my virgin is awful in my area, lots of high ping and low speed, cannot surf the net proper!, cannot get bbci player work at all! Quite shocking. My virgin will be cancel next month with my 31 days notice in.

Re: Why does everything take forever

Hi JamesM,
I'll place an order to turn interleaving off. This should complete in about 24 hours. I will place the fault ticket back with you rather than closing it, that way you can send it back if you experience problems. If not it will automatically close in 14 days.

thank you Jojo,
I have just checked and I can say that interleaving is now off.  Smiley
It looks like it was turned off at 5:00 AM this morning.
