Where has all the untagged SPAM gone to?

I have noticed that over the past few weeks the level of untagged SPAM has dropped to miniscule proportions.  I realise that turning the catchall off and having the spam deleted at source must have made a large difference but I was still receiving around ten emails a day that escaped detection by PlusNet's spam filter.
Fingers crossed I haven't received any of these untagged SPAM emails for a few days now so hopefully all the emails I sent to
spam@despamchecker.plus.com
maybe, at long last, have had some effect.
Have other members noticed any reduction in their levels of untagged SPAM?

Glad to hear you've noticed an improvement.
We've identified and fixed a few problems recently that may have contributed to what you're seeing.
There were a few of our delivery servers that were failing to tag messages as spam and there was a problem with the automated spam engine updates on some of them two. The fixing of both of these is likely to have improved detection rates.

Thanks Bob.    I did wonder if it had anything to do with PlusNet working behind the scenes, so to speak, to fix the problem though I hadn't read of any alterations or improvements they had carried out until your posting.
Keep up the good work and my congratulations and thanks to all at PlusNet who have worked hard and put in long hours sorting out the problems caused by the Webmail incident.
