Just logged into PN webmail. Saw six benign looking emails listed.
Downloaded them and only received four to my PC. The others either were phantom, or got lost. They haven't gone to spam or anywhere that I can see. I don't think they were vital but I wish I had checked.

Guys,
Would be helpful if we can start trying to identify some commonalities.

  • What gateway are you connected to?
  • Are you on the 20CN or 21CN network (If you know)?
  • Can you do a traceroute to tumblr.com and note whether or not your traffic is routed over level 3 or BT transit links?

I was looking at some oddness earlier in the day getting to certain sites and initial investigations suggested that it might be related (whether directly or indirectly) to some of our transit and peering links.

My speed is now pretty well normal. Download at over 5000kbps.
Throughout all this I have been on ptn-ag02, 20CN.
