What have you done to the speed of my BB service?

10 years with Orange, the speed never dropped below 10meg.
10 minutes with PlusNet and I'm struggling to get 1 meg.
constant drop out.... constant webpage time out.
Never less than 20 minute wait for CS.
if this is the quality of the product I can expect, you are in a world of pain.
Frankly, I've been incredibly unimpressed with plusnet so far. I'd certainly not recommend you.

Have you tried the fault finder? You won't get a staff response on this forum until Monday.

Yes tried the fault finder.. apparently it can only cope if my router doesn't actully connect, it considers any old crap speed to be hunk dory.
I have to say I'm really annoyed about this, there is absolutely no reason why they sholdn't maych the speed of my previous supplier.
I am still trying to contact CS / technical support but I'm not having much luck... it was the same when I had to supply my MAC, I should have taken that as a hint.

Post your router stats up and we can see if there is anything obvious.
Have you also tried plugging it directly into the master socket, dialling 17070 and doing a quiet line test etc ?

Finally got through to CS... only took 45 minutes so the process has started... have to say though, I'm pretty unimpressed.

Is that sync speed or the results of a speed test? If it's speed test please confirm that the 1Mbps speed is using a wired connection and not wireless.
