WebCam Port Forwarding on Hub One...

I have a Panasonic Network Camera BL-C140 that plugged into the ethernet port on my old (prehistoric) router with port forwarding set up.

Now I have a brand new shiny hub one... but am finding port forwarding tricky. I can't find an option for a camera, just an endless list of Games. Any ideas? I'm sure it's a simple process if you know it...

Hello,

Welcome to the forum

You maybe have found it by now !

Anyway, from memory it's something like this;-

log into your hub, find advance settings, then port forwarding, then there's an option to add your own address ( your camera's ), put in the details and it all should work.

Don't go to the first port forwarding prompt you see.

I'm sure someone with a Hub One will chime in with a detailed way to do it.

Re: WebCam Port Forwarding on Hub One...

Hi. And thanks for the advice. Yes I had worked it out. The trick is to ignore the first port forwarding screen, and set up the option to name your own device in the firewall section under advanced.

It's one of those things that's easy when you know how, and impossible when you don't!
