I posted a week or more ago about slow speeds, and in than that time my speed has varied signifcantly from about 2mbps to the current 193kbps. It seems to be dependent on the weather, when there is rough wet weather the internet slows down dramatically. I have attached the router infromation below.
Thank you,
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 3,680
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.5 / 19.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 31.5 / 49.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 17.0 / 15.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ALCB
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 2 / 15,197
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 2 / 67
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 2 / 36

The telephone lines in my locale are underground and when it rains they are often underwater as the ducts do not drain properly. This makes for a bad noisy voice line, although unless this gets very bad the broadband connection remains unaffected. The fundamental problem is that the underground junctions are meant to be in waterproof housings but sometimes these perish and leak so you get short circuits and crosstalk when the junctions get wet.

HI jimjo,
It'd probably be best if you raise a fault. Then if we send an engineer he may be able to trace what's happening.
