I have newly come to Plusnet and am using the supplied Voyager 2110 wireless router and filters.
Twice today and twice last week the Internet connection has simply been lost. It may never happen again, but it might. The BT Voyager helpdesk have run tests & suggest it's more likely to be an ISP issue than their little box's.
I prefer not to have to turn the router off & back on again every time this happens, so (1) can anybody tell me why it happens and (2) if there is a way to reliably fix it (for ordinary mortals).
Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is to make sure it's in the master BT socket (where the line comes into the house) and also ensure that all other used sockets in the house (no matter what's plugged in to them) have microfilters. If this is the case you've removed as much interference as possible and should therefore have the most stable connection possible.
