It's LEEDS !!!

I'm pretty sure its a problem with the testing server in leeds.
Even on a non PN connection, the following result comes from the leeds test.

Even on a very stable non PN connection, the following result comes from the leeds test. The others I tried were flat across the board.

Re: Very strange oscillating Speedtest readings

I keep a lot of my speedtest result.png's, not one before last night was Leeds.
Most were Birmingham, Gloucester or London, chosen by speedtest.
41 recorded since 29th October 2011.
Not one ping was less than 17ms.
Many of last nights from Leeds were 16ms or less.
All Leeds pings were probably less than the other UK pings were last night.
So it looks like the fault in Leeds is showing a very low ping, hence the speedtest choosing Leeds, and the ping is low because of the fault.

Yes there was. There was an Incoming DDos Attack at 500Mbps+, It should be fine now though.

Re: Very strange oscillating Speedtest readings

Speedtest .... high speed tonight.

Normally 16.66mb/s for weeks now.
Still high this morning.

My line speed does go from "normal" to high for several days every now and then.

Again, I'm only 466 metres from Exchange, I cannot ever move !
