Very slow today and yesterday - worse than 79% of GB!

Well this is what we've been getting - far lower than normal:

Note its slower than 79% of GB!
It got really bad last night so I figured it was just the weather blowing a phone line around somewhere with loose screw terminals. Weather here today is fine and its still going on. Painfully slow browsing and thats supposed to be a priority traffic wise isn't it? - Just using this forum is seeing pages take in excess of 30 seconds from click to displaying.
Please can someone deal with this?

Even though 4Mb is lower than you normally get it shouldn't cause browsing to be so slow.
I've not got access to the tools I need from home so I'll get one of the team to pick this up in the morning for you.

Can I also point out that uploads are even worse... trying to upload attachments to yahoo email keeps failing. Last night I had to try in excess of 30 times to upload two attachments. Other websites are just as bad.. uploads either take ages or fail. We usually get about 45kb for upload speed.

Wired on the desktop and wireless on the laptop and netbook. All 3 of them are suffering badly.
This is todays from the same computer - download a bit better, upload a lot worse - The upload took so long (over 3 minutes) that speedtest.net seems to have lost the data to put into the image.:

I have one that has numbers (and its now only worse than 74% of GB - in the day.. it'll be worse tonight)!

FYI the upload took about 3 mins to even start - it seems to struggle to even connect. Uploads are proving to be a real problem at the moment as I'm working on a website for someone who is trying to check in on it on a regular basis and he's having problems doing so.

Sorry to hear about the problems you're having here. Assuming you've tried eliminating things like A/V or firewall software? (that's if you have the same software installed on both machines).
I've run some checks on the account and can't see any issues to do with the stability of the connection or the line itself. Before I take this further would you mind running the speedtests on http://www.speedtester.bt.com/ when you have a moment please?

I'm not seeing the AV or firewall as an issue as all three computers are running completely different ones.
Done the speedtest, it says you can see the information but I've kept the window open in case you need anything but the speedtest suggests that there is nothing wrong although BTInternet were well known for saying the same thing many moons ago so I am naturally skeptical of this.
This is really getting me down now.

Just to add, while accessing this forum has become almost impossible, I am now completely unable to access www.google.co.uk with all of its data centre server resources available. I don't think that can be blamed on my AV or firewall.
PN, please, seriously please, will you fix this?
When it comes to the point that accessing google is impossible you have to admit that is not normal.

Here is the latest done on two different computers (each time the other computers were disconnected to be sure there was no bandwidth theft.. and it got WORSE)

This one is absolutely appalling - 2.6Kb upload speed:
