Very slow speeds!

For the past 3 days my speeds have got very slow (was 3300 kbps)..any ideas?
I have just done a speed test; results below.
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
    Your DSL connection rate: 1344 kbps(DOWN-STREAM),  448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
    IP profile for your line is - 1000 kbps
    Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 915 kbps

Hi Mel,
Your downstream noise margin has gone through the roof at 23dB.  This has caused your sync speeds to drop.  Can you try rebooting your router to see if it gives an improved connection speed?
Otherwise you're looking at either a voice line / ADSL line fault, hardware failure or internal wiring issues.
Try a reboot first though

Took 4 reboot attempts and 10 minuets to get connected but speed now at 3.4 Mbps.
Does this sound like a modem issue to you, because if it does I'll get a new one.

I'd love to be able to give you a definite reason, but I just can't
It could be any of those I suggested in my last post.  If you can borrow a modem just to test, then it would help to find out where the problem is.
