Hi,
My connection speed is very slow and has been for quite a while. I haven't had a lot of time to do anything about this and I can't afford to stay home waiting for an engineer. I have done all the suggested tests. Used the test socket, no change, plugged into the master socket as well, no change. Speed is slow on both my router Netgear DG814 and on a voyager 100 usb modem. Tried on three different computers with three different operating systems; no change. Speed used to be about 3.5 mb/sec but is now hardly over 0.25 mb/sec. My configuration hasn't changed. My stats are below. I'm not sure if there is anything else that is useful. Oh, and there are no service interruptions in my area and on my line.
Thank you for any help you can offer!
the Voyager 100 usb is not how I normally connect, that would be netgear, but that doesn't generate these stats apparently.
Local/remote attenuation from voyager 100: 54.0 / 30.5 dB

Well from your first BT speed test it would indicate that there was some sort of bad sync event previously. But since then the BT profile (IP) has risen back to what you had before. Unfortunately the problem I would guess is that the PlusNet profile has not updated inline with what BT have.
You'll have to wait until Monday before anything can be done about this, when the PlusNet support crew get back.

That's RPM to you!!

Thanks for your reply. I noticed the change in the BT profile as well. I've been plodding on on low speeds for a while now and I'm sure I can wait a a day or two longer...

If you ring Plusnet, someone should be able to change it on the spot for you.

Hi there,
Just checked and your profile on BTs side is set to 4000 at the moment so I've set yours to match, hope that ups the speed a bit for you. Are you showing that sort of speed profile on a BT speed test now as well?
