Very slow speed since Sunday - IP profile low, fault found

I've recently moved house, broadband worked fine up until sunday 17th Jan where I was getting 4-5 mbps.  Then on Monday evening, phone line was suffering from a lot of static, and I lost the broadband connection.  It then came back on Tuesday, but my speeds have been slow since - around 128kbps average.
I have run the BT SpeedTester and get the following results;
"Download speedachieved during the test was - 115 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4352 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)

Router details;
ADSL Firmware Version 6.01.00.12

I've just come off the phone from Plusnet customer support who have said a fault has been found but they are waiting for the faults team to investigate and therefore there is no point raising the IP Profile.  Has anyone got any info on how long these things take to be resolved?  I'm so frustrated limited to about 128kbps!!!

Noise Margin             14 db
