My broadband is again  getting  too slow to even contactb  b  Plusnet   Burrowbridge  TA7 0JL I ahave to mswitch n  rpouter on and ofggf    it can be be better

https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/ tells us that there has been no progress with updating your dreadfully slow service. 

Until this changes it would appear that your only option is to move to a satellite supplier such as Starlink https://starlink.com/gb. £35 per month is more expensive but not prohibitive. From my reading, with that and a mobile contact that allows WiFi calling you would be set up with up to 100Mbps and unlimited data.
