Very slow Broadband. Need semi-urgent fix.

For last 6 days our broadband has been pretty much non-existent. Especially in the morning. We need to communicate with Western Canada by FaceTime (5am BST) but connection is so slow. 0.18Mps is average for last days.
It gets better as the day goes on but never like 'normal'.
As an indication - TV, connected by Ethernet, won't buffer videos at lowest 260p setting.
Can't get through to Support. Took 3 days to register for here...
All hardware working same as it was 7 days ago. No unusual phone line noise.

Well thanks for the help. I now have to explain to our grandchildren why we can’t speak to them.
When all this is over - it’s goodbye to PlusNet.
