Very slow ADSL

Hi,

 

Over the last 24-48 hrs I have seen a drastic drop in my ADSL speed - typically getting ~4-5 mbps prior to this.

 

Testing with wired connection, directly to router, no other active network devices.

 

Router Stats:

Down Rate=4256Kbps, Up Rate=448Kbps; SNR Margin Down=12.2dB, Up=24.0dB

 

BT Speedtest

Consistently giving between 0.1 to 0.5 mbps d/l and 0.3 to 0.4 mbps u/l

Further Diagnostics: 

Download speed achieved during the test was - 0.2 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.05 Mbps-0.25 Mbps.

Additional Information:

Your DSL Connection Rate :4.26 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 0.14 Mbps

 

PlusNet site showing Current Line Speed: 21Mbps - which is clearly an error as I've never had anything approaching that.

 

I have tried logging a ticket with PlusNet Tech Support, but currently 23 people waiting on Chat and 55 minute wait on phone...

 

Any help/escalation much appreciated!
