Something wrong with my broadband usage page

I need something cleared up.
This morning I noticed that my broadband usage was showing the wrong dates and no usage over the weekend. I raised a ticket and got a pretty quick reply, which was great but not satisfactory.
The usage page shows current billing period of 14 June to 13 August but it should read 14 July to 13 August. My billing period is 14 to 13 of each month. Doesn't the page get reset each month? Mine still shows last month's total and no usage at all for 14 July and it shows July 13 twice on the grid!
I think somethink is wrong.
Any ideas or will this sort itself?
N.B. I reset my router from the login page before I raised the ticket.

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

There have been a myriad of problems affecting VMBU over the weekend. I'm just trying to catch-up with the call-outs that were made. It was related to the service status posts Matt published. As I understand it, quite a lot of usage files have been skipped from over the weekend so the missing data may not be back-populated.
I've seen four problems so far.

  • Usage missing over recent days or showing 0KB

  • Metered customers getting a message saying "Sorry, there's nothing to show at the moment."

  • Customers who were billed over the weekend still have last month's usage displayed as the total.

  • Customers who were billed over the weekend have a usage period that spans two months.

I'll update this thread once I've familiarised myself with what's going on ...

Broadband Usage monitor problem

It seems since yesterday my usage monitor isn't recording any of my usage.  Not a huge problem seeing as I'm on unlimited.  Just thought it might need looking at.

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

I have to ask - why hasn't there been a service status posting given the apparent extent of the problem

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

The usage is slowly been back-populated. However the usage figures quoted are not yet reliable, they flip between

        peak            off-peak        total
14      5.17GB          1.25GB          6.42GB
15      6.12GB          1.44GB          7.56GB
16      845.37MB        1.77GB          2.61GB
17      0KB                0KB            0KB

and

14      5.17GB          1.25GB          6.42GB
15      0KB            1.44GB          1.44GB
16      0KB              0KB              0KB
17      0KB              0KB              0KB

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

We've processed the usage from the weekend up until yesterday lunch time and the scripts to populate VMBU were run overnight.
I'm not sure if the two sets of figures are anything to be concerned about, I'll bring it to the attention of the guys who've been working on the problem.
We should be in a position later this morning to process the remaining usage, hopefully we'll be back to normal come the end of the day.

One of the databases was out of replication. It's been removed from service so you should only see one set of figures now?

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

My VMBU looks to be working and the figures appear to be correct.
However I did have an odd problem within the last hour, where the whole Member Centre seemed to be working EXCEPT the "Help & Support" section which repeatedly showed "The connection was reset".  Navigating to any other "Member Centre" page connected correctly, but returning to any "Help & Support" page failed.  That said, it is working again now.  Just thought I would mention it !.

Re: VMBU stopped again 12/7

We had a few problems yesterday that would have affected access to our website. Are things working for you both now?
