VERY slow broadband speed

Hi,

Approx 3 weeks ago we had extremely slow broadband speed, for over a week. It turned out we had a noisy line which was causing the connection to be dropped. An engineer visited and replaced the Master socket which has fixed the noisy line.

However, the connection speed has still not increased after 2 weeks since the engineer visit.

I am currently showing a connection speed of 287058 Downlod (YES 285K!!) and an upload speed of 1168096 (1.1M) with a down SNR of 26db

Can the DSLAM be reset please to a target SNR of 6db?

Thank you

Re: VERY slow broadband speed

Sorry, forgot to mention,

Router is currently plugged into the TEST socket, with no other devices connected.

Figures quoted are connection figures from the Router (Draytek 2710) and it's showing a loop attenuation of 19

Thanks

Re: VERY slow broadband speed

Hi @cathleenberry

Thanks for getting in touch - sorry to see that this didn't revert back on its own.

I've now reset this manually and you should start to see an improvement if you switch your router off/on again in about 2/3 hours time.

Best wishes,

Dave
