Using TalkTalk Hueawi HG635

Hi, just come over from TalkTalk and would like to continue using my Hueawi router as the wifi signal is better than any other router I've used.

Before activation I had a look around this forum and discovered several threads stating this would be possible by changing the username and password, I tried this and clicked save but password reverts back to original and stays disconnected.

I thought TalkTalk routers were unlocked but I'm not so sure now, I've posted a screenshot of the router's current settings below, if anyone has any experience with this I would be grateful for any comments.

If I can get this up and running I would also welcome any tweaks which could further improve this router.

Have you tried unticking the TR069 box?
