Useless tech support and lousy customer service

Angry I am so fed up with plusnets so called tech support its crazy had major speed drops for over a week now been told to do the usuel checks i.e. reset router had a line check done then the muppets reset my line cutting speed further and slashing upload speed ....after being on the phone for over 40 mins was told oh dont worry about the low speed and high pings its not that important ...eventually got the speed up however its still less than i was recieving so yet another call to be told oh it might be your router at  fault NO offer to replace when asked was told proberly be best to go and buy one so in short theyve upped my monthly bill and killed my service these guys are bunch of clowns who shouldnt be allowed to tech support putting on a plug
VERY VERY [Censored] off to the extent seriously considering leaving and going to another isp who can provide decent service

It's unusual to expect the sort of problem you are describing to be resolved instantly or in a shorter timescale as the causes can be complex.
The reason that all the checks are necessary is that if an engineer was sent to investigate and the fault was found to be with your own installation, you would then be charged for the visit, and that would apply whichever ISP you were with. I'd also be extremely surprised if you found better service elsewhere, unless you were prepared to pay a premium price for your broadband with one of the more specialist providers.
I'm sure one of the Digital Care Team will be along later to try and resolve your problem, but also, whilst I can appreciate you are cheesed off,  please be aware of the Forum Rules as the use of certain words will get censored and not help your case.
