I have called the faults team several times and they don't seem unable or unwilling to do anything about the stuck BT profile. I did query the capped upload an I was told that everyone has a capped upload.
I don't mind taking part in trails to help improve broadband for others. but don't kick me into the long grass when thing get complicated.

Everyone's upload is capped unless otherwise requested and as for the profile, the no DLM will just stop your line from being banded and allow it to sync at it's highest rate, but a profile will still be set depending on the sync rate. I'll check a few things out and let you know what I find.

Quote from: ctech500 I have been on a trail........
I know it is considered bad form to criticise spelling but I found it hard to make sense of this post until I realised that ctech500 means trial when he/she writes "trail"

Having just ran a line test your PN & BT profiles are both 5500. Are you not seeing this now?

When did you run that BT speed test? Because I've checked all BT systems available to me and they're all showing 5500 ip profile.

I had a chat with one the guys on faults who informed me that it could be contention. But if this is the case why is BT speedtester showing me a profile of 2500 as highlighted
you can check my last two tickets to get a picture of what is going on

Hmm, something's amiss there because as you see your download speed is actually greater than your ip profile. I'll have a delve and see what I can come up with. Thanks for your help so far.
