Upstream Uncap

Does my upstream 1279K reduce to 448K will be better on downstream sync rate or it will be no difference ?
I am current at 17499K downstream and 1279K upstream, so if my upload change to 448K capped what downstream rate would I be seeing ? 10% more or much the same ?

Re: Upstream Uncap

Probably much the same downstream sync speed - within the range one gets from one re-sync to another. However measured download speeds might decrease due to inability to send (upload) acknowledgement packets fast enough.

Re: Upstream Uncap

When we uncap the upload it very rarely has a influence on the downstream, if it does then the difference tends to be less than the extra you are getting on your upload.
So all in all if you want the extra upload speed it is certainly worth it as it normally has very very little impact on you download speed.
