Hi JoJo
Am now registered on this site rather than dealing via Broadbob.
Back in Dec you tweeked my Broadband settings
My actual speed is much lower than my sync speed of 5.85 Mbp/s and IP profile of 5.16 Mbps
viz BT speedtest today below
25_02_12 12.30
Download speed achieved during the test was - 3.65 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 2 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 5.16 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 937Kbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 832 Kbps
Many thanks
Broadmar

Hi there,
I've just checked and your profile has improved on BTs side so I've matched that on ours as well - just wondering if that's made an improvement to the speeds and also if they've stabilised at all?

Hi Matt
Thanks for making the changes.
The achieved download speed has improved somewhat - was 3.86 Mbps now 4.86 Mbps
There was a disconnection / reset on the line by BT? about 17.00 yesterday and the Sync speed has dropped a little to 5,57 Mbps from 5.85 Mbps also the IP profile has dropped to 4.91 Mbps from 5.16 Mbps
Hopefully the upload speed will stabilise at this new higher level
For info the results of a BT Speedtester made this am below.
Many thanks
Broadmar
