Upload speed

Hello,

I'm experiencing very low upload speeds - all the online tests I've done have come back under 1 mbps.  My upload speed is good around 9 to 10 mbps.  Are there any settings I can change or ways to improve my upload speed?

Do you mean your DOWNLOAD speed is good?
Run the Wholesale speed test to check your line's capability.

Yes sorry my download speed is fine.  Just my upload speed seems very slow whenever I do a speed test

On ADSL, you will never achieve an upload speed greater than around 0.7/0.8Mbps - not on Plusnet, anyway.

I'm on ADSL2 exchange, long line and upload = 883mbps.(2.7 down)

Hey Garethv4. I am seeing a high amount of uploading. This will be causing your remaining throughput to be pretty low. Check your devices for uploading, turn it off (if you want) then check your speed

An 0.8Mb upload sync speed max per hour is about 375MB to put it into context.
