Upload speed on ADSL1 21CN

I have had my line locked to ADSL1 with uncapped upstream (for some reason it doesn't like ADSL2) and I just had loss of broadband due to - according to router log - Kernel Warm Restart
The odd part is that the upstream sync is 896kbps interleaved whereas I thought the limit when interleaved was 888kbps
Second question - what would cause a Kernel Warm Restart on a TG582n which wasn't a router reboot as the log is still there for before that

Re: Upload speed on ADSL1 21CN

The 888kbps upstream limit seems to depend on the depth of interleaving applied upstream. On ADSL2+ with interleaving on I have an upstream sync speed of 1197kbps. The telnet stats show interleaving depth=0 (though the FEC error count (not shown here) is non zero).
  Bearers generic info          	 	 DS         	US
    Payload rate [Kbps]: 9597    1197
    Attenuation [dB]:    33.0          18.1
    Margins [dB]:        2.3            6.2
    Output power [dBm]:  0.0            12.8
    Number of bearers:          1
    Bearer 0                    DS        US
      INP [DMT symbols]:    1.18          0.41
      Delay [ms]:          7.97          5.94
      Depth []:          64            0.00
      R:                  12        0

Occasionally I experience kernel warm restarts, never identified a likely cause - re-sync often at higher speed. Other times sync has been lost but low SNRM was likely in these instances (re-sync at reduced speed).

Re: Upload speed on ADSL1 21CN

I've had warm restarts after I've be modifying device details; like removing old devices or assigned static IP address to a device.
