Upload speed improvement

On 29 July my upload speed improved from 0.4 Mbps to 0.8 Mbps. There have also been improvements to my DNS response times, UDP latency and website load times, although my download speed has only changed from 11.0 to 11.5 Mbps. The old values have been similar for the past 5 years.

I am curious as to what has changed. Does anyone know if the improvement is due to something that PlusNet has done, or could it have been OpenReach ?

There's various causes of what it could be but it may have been DLM making improvements to your line.

A more reasonable reason may be that you have had your upload uncapped
