My upload speed has dropped to around 0.18 Mbps
My current router (TG585 v7) stats are:-
Uptime: 0 days, 19:51:45
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 224 / 2,912
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.0 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 27.5 / 50.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.0 / 15.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 11 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 1 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 11 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 3,057
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 33
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 32
If I rest the router the speed go back to:-
Uptime: 0 days, 0:00:42
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 3,200
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 17.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 27.0 / 49.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 23.0 / 12.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
The problem returns after a while.
SN Margin would usually be (Up/Down) [dB]: 23.0 / 12.0 I am currently getting SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.0 / 15.0
So is this a IP profile issue or something I need to look at?
Thanks
Dan.

Something you need to look at.
Does the low upstream resync happen when the phone rings

Just been using the phone I have a faint very intermittent crackling on the line, which is not good news.
Time to go through the motions of proving its not my wiring that is causing the issue (again)
The line has not been the same since copper thieves took a hacksaw to it, we now have an extra connection or two on the line to the exchange.
Dan.

If you are hearing crackling on the line then it is going to be something that we do need to look into. I'd certainly do the internal checks first and if it's still apparent then I'd raise a fault at http://faults.plus.net
