Just seen the offer for Plusnet unlimited and I'm wondering where the catch is.
It seems too good to be true.
I'm currently using Your Way At £19.99 a month but can only benefit from unlimited Peer-2-Peer downloading after midnight.
If I moved over to Plusnet Unlimited for £11.99 what would I be missing out on or what is the difference..

You can compare how the products should perform at http://www.kitz.co.uk/isp/plusnet_shaping2.htm

Thanks Jelv & Spider.
If it really is £11.99 a month then that surely has to better than the package I'm on now especially of it's unlimited.
Is there a catch?

If you are happy with the speed limitations highlighted by the comparison - go for it. Don't forget it will lock you in to an 18 month contract.

The price will depend on your exchange
Quote - Plusnet Unlimited Broadband starts at £11.99 a month for the first 3 months. If you live in one of our low cost areas you'll then pay £15.99 a month thereafter. If you live outside of one of these areas you'll then pay £19.99 a month thereafter.
Quote There are 4 different categories for UK telephone exchange areas - Market 1, Market 2, Market 3 and Market 4.
Which one of these categories your area falls into determines the price you pay for broadband. Where there's more competition in an exchange between different providers, we can offer you better pricing. This is known as a 'low cost area'.

this theard certainly highlights the need for plus net to sort the infomation out on the main site.
if an allready PN customer has found it hard to pick through the messy info given
how the hell are new customers that havent bein on plusnet site before going to cope. hum 18 month contract stuck in then they come here and we tell them the full story as to what they signed there name to.
these new customers are not going to be happy 18 month campers
some serious editing needs doing to get the PN brand of open and honest back in shape
