Unlimited Fibre Extra: Sudden regular slowdown. Is this due to being out-of-contract?

My service quality seems to have dropped around the time my contract expired. Could this be linked?

Background
I was happy enough with Plusnet for about a year. I had modest but consistent speeds. But quite suddenly my speed was regularly dipping to 12-15% speed cited in my plan, accompanied by severe packet loss. This almost always happens during the evening, and often in the afternoons when I’m conducting meetings. The regularity, made me wonder if my traffic is being de-prioritised.

@acoolman Welcome to the forums. First - Plusnet do not 'de-prioritise'/shape traffic.Are you now on a non-contract service, and what speed did you previously get?

What would be even more useful, and you should have asked for it before, is:

Sight of the broadband connection status from your Hub (with the 'Username' obscured) would also be of help.

 

For the Hub One -

Navigate from the Home Screen to Troubleshooting > Helpdesk

For the Hub Two -

Navigate from the Home Screen to Advanced Settings > Technical Log > Information
