Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

I've not very happy about my response myself. I will keep chasing for you though.

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

It looks like the interleaving has been removed at 11:45 today from what I can tell.  Lets hope it stays off this time!
Thanks!

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

Excellent - I tried a new tactic. I've got management keeping an eye on it to ensure it stays off.

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

Thanks for all your help on this but I do have another quick question.
Looking at my quality monitor I am seeing what looks like the occasional line drop showing 100% packet loss, but yet this is not being shown in my router logs which is currently reporting 5 days and 20 hours connection.  Now given the reason interleaving was applied to the line previously was due to line drops occurring that I had absolute no knowledge of as they weren't being shown here in my router logs and only came to light when a radius graph was given to me when my connection was slowed down to avoid the drops its at the back of my mind that this is going to occur again.  Would it be possible to have a quick look and see if you are seeing the line drops at your end?

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

And sorry to dig this back up.  There was a massive jump in latency on the 16th of April with latency going up to around the levels it was when interleaving was applied on the line (pings to bbc.co.uk went from 27ms to 55ms).  My router claims that interleaving isn't active so what could cause such an increase as shown in the attached TBB QM.

There had been no disconnections shown on my side (was showing 20 days connected when I tried a reboot and to get a different gateway on the 19th), but I notice my SNR is sitting at 6 which is unusual as its usually around 10 with being so close to the exchange.  Phone line sounds quiet so it seems a bit of a puzzle

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

Hmm that's very bizarre.
There's no interleaving and the line looks pretty much perfect.
Have you tried dropping and reconnecting your PPP session to see if that changes anything?

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

Hmm I'd try a resync to see if that makes any difference.

Re: Unable to turn interleaving off via portal

I'd be surprised if a resync made any difference if dropping the PPP session didn't make a difference.

Made no difference at all.
