Is this happening when trying to add new websites to the blocked list?

How long have you been trying to update this?

If I add new web site or change the allowed web site, trying for a couple of days

Is it otherwise working ok? As in other blocked sites still being blocked?

No it does not work at all it blocks the default sites, and cannot change these so gamming is blocked and cannot add sites to by pass these

Have you only recently added the safeguard @asgodlonton?

No have always had it but only recently starting using it as noticed could not access certain web sites

Have now gone back to Plusnet hub but  this has not solved the issue

Are you in a position where you could turn your router off for 2 hours @asgodlonton?
