Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Hi All,

Need some info.

To  quickly to sum up.  Vodafone cancelled my line and fibre instead of letting it transfer 😞

PlusNet have now setup a new line today.

So question my question is, how long should it take for PlusNet to get my fibre up and running.

Thanks,

Stew.

Re: Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Hi @stewieb,

I have been having a look into your account and can shed some light on things for you.

When we place the order to setup a new line we have to allow this to complete before placing your fibre broadband order. The line must show that it can support fibre broadband before we can place the order which happens in the 24 hours after the phone starts.

Once we place the fibre broadband order any external work required is completed by an Openreach engineer, which is dependent on engineer availability. Although you have already had fibre an engineer may still be required.

I hope this helps.

Re: Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Thanks for the summary and know it's not Plusnet fault.

However my kids are going mad without the internet, worse time too being summer Holidays.

So just to clarify if the line comes back okay for Fiber tomorrow, which I hope it should do, previously having fiber.

Will you then get a confirmed date from BT openreach when the fiber connection will be up and running?

In the meantime is there anyway we could access the internet using ADSL on my line? Especially if we are going to be in for a long wait.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Re: Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Hi Stewieb,

I have placed the order for your fibre now, and we will update you within the next 24-48 hours for the completion time.

I have sent details of your order on a ticket. You can view this here:

https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=180502448

I'm afraid we will not be able to place an ADSL order as well as fibre, as this will reject if 2 orders are placed at once.

If you require any further information, please let us know.

Thanks,

Re: Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Thanks for all the help, all now working and have happy kids. Just waiting on the 10 day settling in period, speeds currently a little slow than expected. Hopefully this will be rectified shortly

Re: Transferred from Vodafone Cancelled Line.

Hi @stewieb

Glad to hear that your services are up and running now. As you said give it some time for the speeds to settle, if this is still an issue after the 10 working days let us know and we will look into this for you.
