Traffic classification Question

What does "streaming" traffic from last.fm get qualified as?
I spent a bit of time earlier this week listening to streaming from last.fm - but I don't appear to have any data under "Streaming" on View My Usage. Does this mean it's not correctly identified / prioritised?
[Or is the scale just too small for me to see it?]

Re: Traffic classification Question

Hi there,
Streaming traffic (radio and video) should be picked up as streaming.
I reckon it's probably being tagged as Web traffic.

Re: Traffic classification Question

You could Wireshark capture a minute or so of streaming and see what queues it's getting put in. I found a streaming app the other day that was getting traffic incorrectly assigned to the Titanium queue.

Re: Traffic classification Question

Thanks Bob - will give it a go tonight - I have Wireshark installed already so shouldn't take me too long.

Re: Traffic classification Question

Best thing to do is attach the wireshark capture to a Question via the Help Assistant.  It will get escalated up to us in Networks and we can make sure it's getting tagged correctly and put in the right queue.

Re: Traffic classification Question

It appears it is in Gold (0x80) - but still can't see it under streaming on VMU - so I've raised a ticket with the wireshark capture as Neil suggested.
