Traffic Prioritisation

Could I ask whether the speeds given for Plusnet Unlimited also apply to older packages like premium 1?

Re: Traffic Prioritisation

Hiya,
If you follow the link supplied by ASBO DOG you should be able to see the expected speeds for Broadband Premier.
They are different to that of those on Unlimited.

Re: Traffic Prioritisation

Thank you both. The reason I asked is that usenet just seems crawl to a halt from about 2.30/ 3.00 in the afternoon onwards. Is there an easy way to establish whether this is Plus Net or the News Server?

Re: Traffic Prioritisation

Don't forget that the speeds specified on http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/products/archive/bb_premier1.shtml are bits per second and that the speeds given by your newsreader are very probably bytes per second, from 4pm to 10pm the expected speeds are 24KBps (Bytes per second).
