since day 1
i'm going to cancel the contract.

Sadly they will not cancel your fibre as you signed up 18 months contract once the service is active. You may faced early contract fee plus how many months left in your contract (even 18 months)

Geoff,
That would require the user to respond to the requests left unanswered on a couple of other threads.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Maybe just leave him to cancel - if he has a line fault then it will move with him and he'll realise it isn't all Plusnets fault as happens a lot with customers who post like this and cancel without getting the issue sorted.
If the fault is cured by moving then he's sorted.
