Time Taken For Plusnet To Match BT Profile?

I understand that it can take 3-5 days for the BT ip profile to change in line with your current connection rate. But once this happens isn't the Plusnet profile supposed to match BT's within 12 hours or less (if it's updated three times a day)?
Now we have odd ip profiles is this somehow screwing up things?
Current Plusnet profile 5.5 Mb
Current BT IP Profile 6626 for three days

Just done a BT speedtest as it been months since the last one and my IP profile is now 2003kbps. PN has it at 1750kbps

Things seem to have gone topsy turvy. BT's odd IP's seem to change quite quickly now but something is slowing down the corresponding changes at Plusnets end.


Good I see Plusnets line speed has just popped up and is now matching BT's.

You must have kicked something into action as it's already changed again to 6.5 Mb which is the standard ip for that connection speed. Not that it will make much difference to the odd bit extra on the odd BT ip.

My profile on PN side has reverted back to 1750 even though BT' profile is still showing 2003.  Is there a problem with handling these weird values?

Plusnet does seem prone to not updating within their usual 12 hours max or anywhere near that since these odd profiles came in.

We have seen a few anomilies with it, but our profile is set by the delta report we get from BT. I'll put it up to 2000 for you again.

One thing I'm still not sure on with the new odd ip's. According to the BT speedtester, they seem to change very quickly adapting to match new line speeds but Plusnets still seem to be delayed.
So even though the speed is shown as changed on the BT speedtester are the "delta reports" still sent out by BT with the usual 3 days plus delay?

As part as the bRAS quantification one of the effects is that the profile will react really quickly to a sync rate change. As this is something that is not fully rolled out we have yet to receive any guidance on how these will be communicated to us. We have been in constant communication with our suppliers to find out more about it. Currently though, we'll usually get a delta report update 12 hours after a profile change.

As I have more or less said on another thread that just doesn't seem to be the case, at least for myself. If it were speed changes would be occurring on a daily basis and that isn't even remotely happening if at all.
All I can say is there is no rhyme or reason to what is happening regarding that currently.
