Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

Is that in the master socket or the test socket inside the master socket?
You shouldn't see any affect on SNRM when you lift the receiver.

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

Good.
When using the test socket are all other phones sockets (if you have any) dead?

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

SNRM much more steady in the test socket, but look what happens when the phone rings....  PN have asked me to try a different router, which I will do as I have one, after I've run this one in the test socket for a few days.

IMHO, That needs more engineer intervention at the exchange but I'll let the faults guys make the next call on that.

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

3rd engineer visit, essentially arranged by PN to insist on a Lift and Shift, but BTW refused again.  Engineer concluded that there was nothing he could do.  So what next?

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

If Plusnet return the ticket to you bounce it straight back and wait for engineer visit #4.

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

Hi whitecottage,
Sorry to hear this hasn't been resolved for you yet, we've raised an escalation with our suppliers on this as were not happy with the way this has gone. Our faults team will keep you updated.

Re: Ticket 9111093 slow upload

The fourth engineer did the Lift and Shift, despite calling me to tell me that he doubted he would be allowed.  Presumably whomever this mysterious Lift and Shift authority is, had note of Plusnet's efforts to get this done.  The engineer said BTW don't like doing it because the old ports can never be re-used.
So far, I've seen no fluctuation on the upload SNR whatsoever.  Early days, but Ithe problem appears to be resolved!!
