Seems to have taken effect already. It is showing a few errors so the SNR might go up a bit.

Yep, seeing exactly the same sync rate and SNR and the connection's been ongoing now for over 20 hours so I have to say it's looking very good

How long should I stay in the test scoket? I was thinking about changing back on Saturday morning and seeing what happens with the SNR, If it shoots back up would you be able to an SNR reset again while in the normal socket to see what happens?

Shouldn't be a problem, though you'd need to raise a ticket if you wanted it done before Monday I'm afraid (unless you were going to wait until then before requesting anyway )

Matt made a good point last night, I'd have to wait until Monday if the SNR shoot backup over the weekend when i move back to my normal phone socket so I did it this morning and it seemed to go ok.
These are my current stats
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7887 kbps 1080 kbps
Line Attenuation 50.0 db 26.8 db
Noise Margin 2.9 db 4.6 db
My son did say last night he had trouble playing his playstation online but I was ok looking at web pages on my PC and my wife was fine watching Netflix on the Ipad, any ideas what could have been causing the playstation problem? I did notice the SNR was around 2.2 - 2.3 DB around the time he was complaining.
