Hello,
I have an issue after upgrading the firmware on my tg585v7 router (using the page http://community.plus.net/library/hardware/how-to-upgradedowngrade-the-firmware-on-the-thomson-585v7...) . After the upgrade, the router is asking for a username and password. I would assume that this is the password for the "Administrator" user. However, it is not the password that was set before the upgrade, nor is it a blank field as mentioned in the link, nor is it the serial number.
Can someone help as I can no longer check or do any custom set up on my router? The router has connected to ADSL and the WPA key has reset to the original value, if that helps.

Issue solved.
For future reference, v8.x.x.x firmware has a default username of "admin" (without the quotes) and the password is the serial number of the router without the bracketed characters. Both are case sensitive.
