Thomson router wifi security?

Hi, I've noticed recently that my wifi light is flashing a lot when nothing is connected to it.
I only use wifi for my PS3, kindle and phone.
I've checked my router onboard GUI thingy and nothing else seems to be connected.
On any other router I'd either stop broadcasting SSID or not allow any new devices to connect but this is the Thomson we're talking about.
Unless SSID is broadcast and new devices are allowed by default, PS3, Kindle and phone aren't allowed to connect at all.
This is my third router (two I bought, this one supplied by plusnet) and the only one that (kind of) works with plusnet.
Is there a security issue here, with someone sneaking in on my connection, or is it just something the Thomson does and I've just never noticed before? Crazy

Re: Thomson router wifi security?

Mine is doing this and I thought it was just because mine is a bit flaky anyway.  Maybe its a more wide spread issue?
Any one from PN got any ideas?
