Thomson TG585 router - port forwarding problem

I have an Apache web server running in a virtual machine. I am using a bridged adaptor, which allows all other machines on my network to access the server successfully. However, I cannot get access from outside of my network (i.e. via the web) because the Apache server uses port 80. The Thomson router server also uses port 80, so whenever I attempt to access my web server, I get forwarded to the Thomson log in screen instead.
Is there a way to change the port which the router uses?

Sounds like you've got remote access from wan enabled.
Try disabling this for HTTP:
http://npr.me.uk/remote.html
If you still wish to access the router from wan use HTTPs.

I checked the status of the Remote Assistance option and it is currently disabled.

Strange.
What result do you get from this telnet command?
service system list name=HTTP expand=enabled

Re: Thomson TG585 router - port forwarding problem

I cracked it in the end. It was a settings issue in the router Game & Application Sharing page.
What I had to do was find the name of the VM running the web server and then assign that to the HTTP server application in the router. I also had to fiddle around with some of the VM';s network settings, but it works now.
Networking always gives me a headache!
Thanks for all the help and advice.
