Thomson Router

Just received a replacement.I notice that there are a lot of events logged for the !st Jan over a period of 4 hours. Are these the initial set up details or has this router been used previously? Is it secure?

Re: Thomson Router

Hi BB,
It's brand new dispatched form the warehouse, so wouldn't worry. Just set it up as normal.

Re: Thomson Router

That router does not remember logs after a power cycle so it will be whatever it did when you powered it on. Many routers will default to 1st jan <someyear> until it can get a date/time update either from you connecting via a browser or via NTP time service if it is configured to get the date/time that way. Or it just continues from the default date.
